    Xbox One Disc Drive Isn't Working


    So this has been going on for a while now, my xbox one hasn't been reading any discs that I put in. Just recently, I decided to open up my console to see if I could find an issue, but everything seemed fine. Then I put a disc in again and it started making
    a constant beeping sound. The sound continued for maybe a few minutes before the disc drive just stopped running. I also tried doing a reset, but nothing changed.

    If you don't have any luck fixing it yourself, you could always put in a repair request on the

    contact us     section to send the console to Xbox to fix. You might have to talk to an customer service agent to get the request going and I do know right now they are experiencing a overwhelming amount of traffic so it might be a little bit before you get
    an answer.

    I hope this gets fixed for you, i know that is annoying and such a bad time to not be able to play any games.

    Microsoft will never repair a console that the owner has opened up themselves so contacting support or booking a repair is pointless as they can't help.

    Xbox One Disc Drive Isn't Working

    Since you have opened the console, you have now voided the warranty. This means that Microsoft will not fix it for you. Also, we cannot help, as self repair is not allowed to be spoken about on these forums.

    anyone else on their third or more XBOne within the first year?

    I'm on my third one which is starting to fail. The Disc Drive is getting exceptionally loud now... still reading and works fine as long as a disc isn't in... but I didn't buy an Xbox to have something that can't play discs!

    Eject Button was jammed out of the box. Doesnt move or click at all.

    There isn't a "physical" button that you press in. It's the eject symbol on the disc drive that you touch to eject games. If it's not working then there's something wrong with the Xbox One itself. Welcome to the club.
