    Xbox One disc drive acting up.


    So I bought this console in February. and like 3weeks to a month after being purchased, the drive makes this weird noise like something is being grinded in it. And it ejects my games disc while I'm playing, turns on by itself when turned off, even without
    the Kinect plugged in. Speaking of Kinect. It turns off and on every 10-30 seconds as well. Can I still send my console and Kinect in to get it repaired or replaced?

    I can't install FABLE 3

    Does it do anything when you insert the disc? Is your Xbox acting like no disc is in the drive?

    Discs left in console not reading, happens on all games, eject and reinsert and they seem to work

    This exact issue stared happening to me recently. My Xbox has been perfect when I bought it, but after joining the betas my disc drive has been acting up. I've opted out, but even with the current May update, it's still acting up. Hopefully the next update
    fixes this.

    You should sort these issues out when they happen, if its still under warranty you can try.

    Well my day one 360 lasted for 3 years. Still works as a matter of fact, just the disc drive and laser act up.

    if you have gamepass then doom eternal will start without a disc as you will be using the licence from the sub.

    forza 3 disc should work ok, unless the xbox drive is acting up, the way you said the fan is ramping up sounds like you have the original black xbox, if that is the case it could very well be the optical drive being glitchy.
