XBox One - Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will not start. Stuck at title screen.

I'm on my 3rd "re" installation of Diablo III. I bought the disc version and after numerous reinstallations and hard system resets (holding console power button for 5-7 seconds) my game still will not pass the title screen. Pretty upsetting. Was very psyched
to play it but now I have to wait for support. Help me!

Xbox Live Status page.

I am having the same issue. My game won't even open. I see death standing there and then it goes black. What is this? Every other game I have works fine.

 

I just picked up the game a couple days ago. I was able to play it the night I got it and yesterday, but when I tried loading it up today it is stuck on the title screen. I have tried reinstalling the game and it still is not working.

 

This is happening to me as well. Can't even get to a point where the game actually starts... What's going on?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue being experienced with trying to start the game and I would like to help out as much as I can to get you all back to be able to play Diablo III: Reaper of Souls! To start out with, I have a few questions to ask to get more
information.

• Are you trying to play from a physical disc version or a digital downloaded version?
  
• Where are you
  installing your game to? The Xbox One console's internal hard drive or an external hard drive?
  

In the meantime, if you haven't already, try out these troubleshooting steps to see if will do the trick and have you back to playing:

1. Uninstall the game.
   
2. Power cycle your Xbox One console.
   
3. Once the console is off completely, unplug all cords from your console.
   
4. Leave everything unplugged for a few minutes.
5. Plug your console and cords back in and turn it on.
6. Check your Network Connection. (Settings > Network > Test Network Connection)
   
7. Re-install the game and try playing it again.

I am going on a disc copy installing to internal HD. I tried power cycling my XBO which resolved the issue and haven't had a problem since.

 

Is this in any way related to the disc error drive seen in recent makes of the xbox one system?

I've seen many reports of systems bought in august (i got mine 2 weeks ago) have a disc reading error.

 

Tried all the above steps several times, nothing has worked so far. Even tried exchanging the game for a new disc thinking the disc was faulty. Didn't work. It's inst,allied to the xbox internal hard drive

 

Having same issue, paid the £59.99 online an downloaded (overpriced) second problem had woth xbox in last 2 weeks... sony sounds better an better everyday

 

I've get problem with Diablo 3 too. Pay online and trying download but no success
