Xbox One Developer Mode Not Activating (Website Does Not Display Activation Screen)

    Hello.

I purchased the Partner Center license yesterday.

I downloaded the app for Xbox One to activate developer mode on it. I followed the steps. There are only 3 screens in fact.

So he generated a code and asked me to go to https://aka.ms/activatexbox

I did that, I entered the address on the computer ... and he redirects to the Partner Center portal, on the console management page, with none listed.

    What would be the problem?

The most curious thing of all is that of the several times I tried, one of them I did a test: I left my profile on the console, leaving it without a profile. I opened the app and followed the steps, it generated the code in the same way. How is he then linking
    the code to my account?

I am trying for 2 days already, a dozen times. Code generated from console app, nothing displaying in website.

Sorry about session "XBOX" here, because i can't see a developer session for personals... and the support for TI\Dev asks for an enterprise account.

I registered this question into "XBOX" category in MS "support" form. So i don't know if they will answer "this is not our business" or if they will even answer me before 2021, since MS support is already slow, and we have an overload due do covid.

So if someone could help me from community, i appreciate. Xbox One Developer Mode Not Activating (Website Does Not Display Activation Screen) :)

I can see many people talking about this exact issue over the social networks, but i didn't find any solution.

    Thanks.

    :)

I'm assuming you went through the motions of accessing the developer's tools through the official means through the creator's page on the Xbox Website. So the best option, would probably be to contact Xbox Support. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/developers/creators-program/

I would attempt to request a call-back via support rather than waiting for a support ticket to go through... support is backed up due to recent world events right now, so waiting for a response from either may take some time. It may be best to have a support
rep talk you through it personally though. https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us
The page has only gamer-side questions to select.

Even if i select some option, like "i can't update an app" or other else, they show me a message saying:

"callback is not available to this question. call an xbox user or post in community."

MS support can't be worse... :(

They manage to make users themselves answer their questions in community. oO

    Updating...

The new joke of the day is:

    Trying support around here...

    https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/support/

After filling out the form, at the end it displayed a message that I have no support contract in this account.

Now, does the company only offer a support ticket option for companies? Does it mean that individual developers if they encounter a problem have to fix it for themselves, or look for someone who has any tips to solve?

    Can't believe! oO

    I followed this guide:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/xbox-apps/devkit-activation

The item 5 tells me to register:

    https://developer.microsoft.com/store/register

I did it, and paid the unique price to get in. Now this "register" page shows me a panel for who is already in:

When i do the item 7, it takes me to devices management page:

But as you can see, i can't activate any code generated from xbox one app, because this small window doesn't pop:

I generated the code from XB MS app when logged to the very same account as that used to get into the partner program, and logged to the site.

    ...

I already develop for mobile and windows, and want to start to learn and develop for console, but without turning console into a "personal dev kit" i can't even start.

    Just to mention.

But i'll try to reach support. The ticket i opened was telling in a covid message that they are not using call support due to the current situation. So i'm afraid i have to stay stuck for a long long time.

    :(

    ...

I was wondering wich support i need. The problem related affects Xbox AND desktop or developing world.

I see contact support page for Xbox site, they ask me question category. Seems all of them are for players, not developres. Options like "accessibility games", "account and profile", "hardware and network", "family", "mixer", and so. All options to final
user, the player. Not a developer. I'm afraid after months of waiting, I get an answer like "this is not the support team related to your issue.".

I had this same problem and I was able to enter the activation code by doing the following:

    1. Click on the '+' to the right of the 'Keyword Search' box on the 'Manage Xbox One consoles' (devices management) page
    2. There should be two options available, one of which is 'enter activation code'
    3. Click on 'enter activation code' and a pop up box should appear
    4. Enter the activation code from the Xbox and click on 'submit'
    5. your Xbox should now have been activated

The above worked for me. Hopefully, it will work for you too.
