Xbox one detailed statistics saying I should get faster D/l speeds than I am.

Hey all, I'm downloading a digital game/update for that game and my actual download speed is varying between 7 Mb/s and 24 Mb/s. When I go into my network settings on the XBone and check the detailed network settings it's saying I should be getting around
80 Mb/s. (My provider says I should get up to 100 Mb/s, yada yada, up to not actual, yada yada, I know this. My NAT is open and I'm hard wired, not running wifi. My router supports up to 300 Mb/s either way). My question is why is my actual XBone telling me
I should get more than three times the download speeds than it is actually downloading at?

Why does Xbox One not support my ISP speed?

Ok so I got my Internet upgraded today to a 150 Mb/s D/L, 25 Mb/s U/L package. When I signed into Xbox, I ran the 'Detailed Network Statistics' feature in Network settings and it actually gave me a result of a sexy 177 Mb/s D/L and can't remember the U/L
but it was higher than I've ever seen. The issue is, I'm downloading the NHL 17 Beta which is 17.93GB, yet it's only downloading at a speed that ranges between 55 Mb/s - 65 Mb/s. Why does this happen, and is there anything I can do to get the most out of the
speed it clearly shows it's capable of in the Detailed Network Statistics feature?

 

Slower than expected download speeds

Xbox X, wired connection, 150/15 ISP plan, IPv4 & IPv6 enabled. on the preview program, Delta ring.

when I go into Settings/Network/Network settings/Detailed network statistics I get download speeds of 75-105Mb, mostly in mid 90s, game downloads have not hit 90Mb. When I go to the browser on the Xbox, and do a speed test it is consistently at 180Mb d/l
speed and I've tried 3 different site and all are the same.

This appears to be an issue at XBL. is there a solution?

 

What's your actual reading on Speedtest?

If you're really getting speeds of 7-24Mbps over a 100Mbps connection, there's something happening with your home network. Do you have other devices in the house actively using the connection as well?

Thanks for the response. When I do the speedtest on my work tablet it's reading 54 Mb/s. That is over wifi since the tablet has no ethernet port, where as my Xbox One is hard wired so it 'should' get a faster connection(in theory). The ping on my tablet
is also about 1/4 as much but I'm assuming that's due to the server not being in the same state as I am. This doesn't bother me as much as the highly reduced download times for my Xbox. While I normally have at least one other device connected to my home
network while I play my Xbox, while downloading this game and update I made sure that the Xbox was the only device connected since it was getting such bad speeds as it was. This had no effect on the download speeds.

 

You could try erasing the Alternate MAC Address in your console, then console gonna reboot and you can verify Network statistics again, it should be a change in your speed and it could get your issue resolved. Also you can verify the next link

Depending on the region you're in you could also try to change your DNS settings to GoogleDNS (primary 8.8.4.4 secondary 8.8.8.8) on your Xbox One. In some cases this boosts the download speed.

If it does not then I suggest checking if your NAT is set to OPEN, MODERATE or CLOSED on your Xbox One, if it's open then it should be good, anything else might be throttling your download speed and will require portforwarding.

If everything checks out then you might have a faulty cable
