Xbox one destroying power supplies?

I have a old almost launch Xbox One. And I've gone through 3 power supplies. Today I just got a gamestop one and it worked for one gaming session then refused to turn the console back on. Is there something defective with the actual console at this point. I've tried power cycling the power supply. Disclaimer I will say my console is quite dirty and I'm wondering if that has something something to do with it?

Have you had your electrician check your power ? Outlets usually damaged power supply is a sign of an electrical issue

If you have it on a power bar don't direct to the wall

Also try another outlet

Brownouts are bad for any electronic you shod consider ups

I just moved and it's been an issue both places. There were some power issues at times in the old apartment so I wonder if it fried something in my xbox?

In Singapore they use 220V power supplies; the US uses 110V. You cannot typically use a simple socket adapter unless you use a switching power supply. You also do not want to use any of those travel "voltage converters" with electronic devices. If I understand
correctly, you are plugging in the 220V power supply into a 110V socket. At best, it simply won't work. At worst, it will destroy the electronics.

To use your Singapore Xbox in the US, you should be able to simply purchase a US Xbox 360 Power supply for the same model of Xbox and use that while in the US. The key is to ensure that the *outputs* of the power supplies match. For example, on my power
supply itself, it says "Output 12V, 203W, 16.5A" (this depends on the model). Also, be aware that there different connectors to the Xbox itself. Be sure to get the correct one (again, this depends on the model).

The power supply should always have a light on it.

Orange light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is off

White light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is in standby (charge controllers, download updates, etc.)

White light on power supply/white light on Xbox One = Xbox One is on
