Xbox one, Destiny 2, Beyond light not showing as owned

Discus and support Xbox one, Destiny 2, Beyond light not showing as owned in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have Beyond light installed on to my Xbox and i pre-ordered it and have played it since it launched.     Xbox one, Destiny 2, Beyond light not showing as owned


    I have Beyond light installed on to my Xbox and i pre-ordered it and have played it since it launched. Now it shows as not owned and tells me to buy it again. How do I fix this?

    I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

    Click with the menu button on the game icon and go to manage game and add-ons and in saved data delete the ''reserved space'', clean your console's MAC, restart your internet device for a few minutes, and try again.

    To clean the MAC follow this path
    Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

    If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>
    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    ***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***
    Hello there. Thank you so much for your input, But I wasn't aware of this before hand, but In saying that before I came here I uninstalled the DLC thinking that I could simply reinstall it and I'm now afraid that I've lost it forever, but I still have the beyond light pre-order pack installed. Is there anything I can do to mend this???

    I have the same problem, but I did something really, REALLY stupid: Once I realized that I couldn't play the Beyond Light expansion anymore, I decided to go to Manage game and add-ons and DELETE the Beyond Light Add-on, (hoping to reinstall it like a mobile game) but of course, that didn't work and I have desperately tried clearing my MAC address and of course that also didn't work. Although I still have my Beyond light pre-order pack ( kind of like proof that I even had it in the first place ). So I really want to get my Beyond light back, even though I did something so stupid as to delete my Beyond light expansion. I am so sorry, Please help!!!!

    The Beyond Light DLC was a part of Xbox's Game Pass but with the launch of The Witch Queen they removed it unfortunately. Another way for bungie to make money and such. I have the same problem, so did some digging and realised that I had been excited to not having to worry about saving up to play it 😣
