    Xbox One Destiny 2 Beta code problem


    I pre-ordered Destiny 2 game and expansion pass. And was wondering if I was supposed to get a code or if you preorder it off of Xbox Live that it automatically gives you the code? Will I automatically get the beta? Are the codes for the people who buy it
    from a store? Look forward to any information you guys have to give would it be greatly appreciated thanks

    Codes are only for those who purchased a physical copy from a store. If you preordered it digitally, you automatically have access to the beta.

    If you purchased it digitally you can search the xbox store for the beta and you can pre install it.

    Hey there,

    To clarify, the Destiny 2 Beta begins on July 19th and ends on July 23rd. More information about the beta specifically can be found on the Destiny official website
    HERE.

    If you've pre-ordered the game on the Xbox Store digitally, you won't actually need a beta code as the license for the beta will already be associated with your account. To download the Destiny 2 Beta now, you'll want to go to the Xbox Store and search "Destiny
    2". You'll see the beta available in the list and be able to install it there (It's 12.83 GB, so make sure you have some space available for the game to install).

    If you pre-ordered the game at a retailer, you'll receive a code that you'll need to redeem on the Destiny website
    HERE. Once you redeem the code you'll receive instructions on how to download the beta.

    If you've pre-ordered the game at retail and have not received a code, you'll need to work with the retailer to obtain a code as we don't have the ability to replace beta codes.
