Xbox One deleting save files independently

I went onto forza horizon 2 today and all was well. After a few hours on it I turned off my xbox one, and unplugged it. I came back about an hour later and plugged it in and went back on to Forza. I started my game up as usual and at the main menu it tried
to sync my game data which dont usually happen. It does it forever and dosnt stop. I waited 30 mins and nothing changed, still syncing. I have restarted my console, i have quit the game, ive done everything. I went onto manage game and my save file isnt appearing
asif the console has deleted my save file without me doing so. Thats a save file with over 300 hours on it. Tell me the xbox one cant possibly delete my saves on its own and please tell me theres a way of retreiving my save file. If it can just delete saves
independently then i dont see my self buying anymore games incase it happens again. Help please

The Walking Dead Game

I had one of my friends tell me he had a similar problem. He had to start the game over with a new save file to correct it,deleting the other save file first. You could try making a copy of your save files to cloud storage before deleting the file in case
that doesn't work so you will still have your original save.

Game only freezes when using my profile

Have you tried deleting the save file itself? Not the corrupted one, the actual save file this may cause you to lose all saved progress but hopefully it will fix the issue.

Hi TerroRizR Me,

If you unplug your console from the internet, and then disconnect the wireless does it work? If you're in a forza game, don't do a race and just hard reset your console before doing this, game running and all. To hard reset, hold the power button down for
5 seconds till it turns off. Then turn your console back on.

Also, one more thing. After you turn it on, make sure ALL network connections are not on, and see if the game plays with your previous saves.

That depends if you had that save file transported from a Xbox 360 to Xbox One via Cloud Save or you started the save on Xbox One

Where did you delete the save file? Xbox 360 or Xbox One?
