Xbox One Day One Edition Controller Malfunction?

Hi!

So I have a Day One Edition Controller that came with my D.O.E console (obviously xD) and it seems to be making my crosshair drift upwards in any game I play be it Call of Duty or Halo: The Master Chief Collection (its even noticeable during Forza Motorsport
5 Races)

Any ideas what I can do to fix this as I don't want to have to lose my D.O.E Controller to a replacement black one from Microsoft.

Standard Edition Available?

How about get the Xbox day one edition and buy another controller? If you have friends over let them use the day one edition controller, everyone knows player 2 gets the crappy controller!!

I have the Microsoft extended insurance for my Xbox One and they will replace your day one with another day one, I had this issue in Destiny it kept drifting upward. Just got my replaced day one controller last week. I just contacted cust care via chat.

Okay so I spoke to XBOX Support and they said that they haven't got any in stock and that I should check the website for when they come back into stock.... only thing is he didn't say where I had to look.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't know where to look about stock, I would just check back every day or two with them. It's possible the rep who was helping you didn't know exactly what you were trying to do. Try chat, seeing it in type usually helps more to avoid confusion.

Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

Is there a buzzing sound/grinding noise emitted from console?

Is it a Day One Edition?

Have you tried other games, blu-rays, etc?

Most likely it is a drive malfunction. Day One Editions are more prone apparently. If it persists, I suggest taking it back to retailer for exchange or Xbox Service center for repair while it's still in warranty. Hope this helps.
