    Xbox one date issue


    Hi,

    i have checked through the forums and although this has been asked many times the issue has rarely been answered officially and never been completed resolved.

    When the xbox one goes off line the internal date instantly resets to 01 September 2014. This is really annoying if you do not notice because game saves now save with this date so games become unsynced.

    Is there a battery on the main board as on PC/laptop?

    I always switch off at the mains when finish playing. I would pefer not to leave it in standby mode.

    Is there away (other than remaining connected) to keep the date insync and correct with the last date update.

    Xbox one date issue

    The Xbox's online sign in system relies on an accurate clock. Therefore there is no way to manually set the clock on the Xbox One. If it's online, it will automatically set it's clock to an internet time server with the correct time and date.

    If the console is offline, it will not be able to check the correct time, and since there is no battery or manual time setting, you're stuck with an incorrect date.

    Hard reset/ reboot or Power Cycle your console. But firstly, I'd suggest you check the services, if their up and running!

    I would suggest to try to be online as much as possible to avoid the incorrect date/time.
