    Xbox One Dashboard Suggestions


    I couldn't find any thread for this, so here we go.

    Obviously, the dasboard is far from done, and needs loads of work to even be on par with 360 in terms of usabilty and performance. I just can't wrap my head around how bad the One's dash is compared to 360's. I have a few thoughts on the matter
    and would love to read other's ideas as well. =)

    Since pressing the 'guide' button brings you to the dash, I think it'd make a lot of sense to make the dash as much like the 360 guide (in terms of accessibility and ease of use, not visually) as possible.

    I know there's a friends tab coming soon, but there NEEDS to be a settings tabs, exactly like the 360's.

    And, of course, overall performance boost. How does a much more powerful system load settings and whatnot slower than 360?

    The ability to mute or adjust volume of system sounds, especially during video.

    Show when a friend is 'away'.

    What am I forgetting?

    Thanks for the advice. I checked and everything was unrestricted as can be. I'm going to fiddle around with it a little more and see if I can get anything to change. The other accounts show the exact same suggestion tiles.

    My dashboard literally has 2 Scooby Doo adds, a Toy Story add, and some other little cartoon. :(

    Check your personal and privacy settings. I do believe there's a family option somewhere in there that sets content to only show family-friendly content. You might have that option accidentally turned on.
