Xbox One Dashboard Noise - Fix suggested

Have to pudate my status: preview program console not only silent now, also gone the buzzing when you attack the power cord from the console off, stand by mode is also silent. Perfect now despite the DVD drive noise.

Glad to hear that. My console is also completely silent in standby now (unlike the power brick). There was an update tonight, maybe it fixes the Blu-ray drive issues. I'll keep an eye on it.

Update is not up (lol) here in Italy, yet. I'll let you know when is avaiable.

 

I'm sure it is, it just hastn't become mandatory yet. You need to got to Settings -> System and take it manually if you want it now.

I can't do it manually. It says "no update available". I guess i'll have to wait.

 

I'm glad to hear that this preview update fixed the noise, I have the same problem to with my XBONE.

To bad I don't know anyone with a preview update so that I can get a invite, do any of you have guys have a invite for the preview update left? It would really help me out, the noise was starting to annoy me.

The same niose problem here((( Bought xone just yesterday, turn it on, updated and crappy noise fulfill my living room(( Guess this is a international problem, xone is from USA and i from Russia. In a few days a pair of european consoles will be available
from reseller so he suggested to moneyback or to exchange my xone on one of them...will see (listen to them) how they work and make a decision about that.

I've exchanged my Xbox One and the dreaded noise is still there. I'll probably have to seek help from Microsoft for an exchange but ultimately it's still dependant on the luck of the draw if you ask me.

Very disappointed that my money went into a brand new defective hardware.
