Xbox One dashboard freezing/console lock-up

My Xbox One also does this, however it is not caused by games. I've already factory reset it both ways. It plays sounds but will NOT load anything, when I go into a new area in a game it freezes for about 2 mins before loading slower than a damned slug.
Also after it starts doing this, disks don't read, and downloaded games don't launch they take too long so it automatically closes it. If anyone has this problem too could they tell me if they have fixed it?

 

I think I’m starting to have this issue, I just did a factory reset and kept my data and it seems like it fixed it but if it’s the same issue then I guess the problems will be coming back, I’m not sure if it’s the exact same issue cause my console didn’t
freeze it just became unresponsive and wouldn’t let me start any games, Disk or digital, it all started very suddenly and without any previous symptoms, can’t be anything with the OS tho since this post was made 2 years ago.

 

Same issue here. Xbx1x worked flawlessly for several months then suddenly started this crap.

Hard resets only get me back to where i can play a game, as soon ss i go back to the dashboard...freezing issues. I can switch between tabs usually, but nothing loads...games, conversations, nothing. Just sits there until a screen pops up saying 'something
eent wrong'. Frustrating.

 

Same issue for me. Suddenly started yesterday morning.

 

Ok I thought this was a hardware issue.

I play Pubg a lot and I am always in party chat with friends. If I happen to send an invite out by going to my dashboard, it will randomly freeze up on me unless I click the Xbox home button again. After doing so, it will put me back in the waiting screen
in Pubg (unfreeze) but it will keep kicking me out the party chat. If I dont push the xbox button after going to the dashboard, it will just stay frozen until I do something else.

 

same thing happened with my xbox one x. Not sure what to do I'm so frustrated. I spend more time trying to get it to work and play games than I do actually playing games. Today it wouldn't even let me sign in to xbox live. There is an error message for
everything. Game corrupted try again, won't install dead Rising 3 which I'm trying to test out and disc is flawless. Installed disk now won't install update for game. Keeps stopping. Already done several resets, factory resets , there is a problem with
your saved games, errors left and right, error e105, when I try to reset it doesn't I just keep on clicking and nothing. Got it in November and didn't start having issues till late January. Also keep getting message to clear local saved games and either
doesn't work and of it does I get the there is a problem with your saved games message constantly and can't save. Feel like a waste of 500 bucks and don't want to have to buy another one. Never had any issues with my 2013 launch day xbox one. Might just
get a PS4 pro . Last PS system I had was a Ps2 but I am beyond frustrated with this system. Damn i even bought an OLED TV to go along with my X.

rise of the tomb raider and looked amazing, started getting errors with that and then all my other games. Couldn't advance in witcher 3 blood and wine because I'd play so long and then get a there is a problem with your saved games error so had to restart
and lose all my advancement. I'm beyond frustrated, mess around more with the system than I actually play. Today wouldn't sign me in to xbox live, wouldn't install update do dead Rising 3 as I'm trying to test games out. Feel like a wasted 500 bucks and
it's past my 30 days and didn't get the 2 yr warranty since I've never had any issues with any of my xboxes and I've had them all. I was wowed by the enhanced games but what good is it if I can't play them. If I buy another it'll be 1000 bucks spent. Maybe
I'll get a PS4 pro but haven't had a PS system since PS2 and really don't want to go that route. Lucky bastsrds that didn't have issues with theirs.

 

My Xbox one x scorpio has the same issues now ,starting acting up last week, I got mine on release day and had zero issues till now. Have contacted support and it going in for repair, pretty sure it has a one year manufactures warranty so won't have to pay
anything.

I've got a similar issue, and it sounds much like this original array of bugs. Here's the symptoms:

1: Startup sequence and shutdown (via holding down the Xbox One icon on the controller, then selecting 'turn off console', or by tapping the Xbox One's power button) works.

2: Inserting any disc-game that doesn't need internet works, but...

3: I cannot sign in.

4: All menus except the power off menu cannot be seen.

5: Cannot connect to internet.

6: Xbox One has been turning on of it's own accord. I've been cutting the flow of power to it each time it tries this.

And this is just on your bog standard Xbox One. Clearly, unlike the 360, these have built-in obsolescence (self-destruction over a long period of time to incite owner to buy a replacement, the newer version, or pay for fixes).

 

Same problem here... Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, since November playing without problems. Suddenly this week playing Sea of Thieves the game freezes for a couple of seconds and close to the home screen, tried to start it again and not worked. Rebooted the
system and errors E102 and E105 become.... on screen, tried to restore both deleting and not deleting games but neither worked, error E102 again. Next day, shut on console just for a test.... booted in Initial Config, set it up and download PUBG.. even I can
play a full match, but in the end of it, game crash and home menu becomes slow, laggy and unresponsive. Tried Factory Reset with USB, worked but after half hour of less of gaming the problem appears again. Contacting support to send the console.
