xbox one dashboard button doesnt work

Discus and support xbox one dashboard button doesnt work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my xbox one controller's dashboard button doesnt work, i can turn my xbox on with it but once i get to the dashboard, i stops working. is there any way...     xbox one dashboard button doesnt work


    my xbox one controller's dashboard button doesnt work, i can turn my xbox on with it but once i get to the dashboard, i stops working. is there any way of fixing it without having to buy a new controller

    same here!! the a button doesnt respond in the game but works fine in the dashboard menus.

    xbox one dashboard button doesnt work

    Make sure your controller is fully updated.

    Remove the batteries from the controller and do not plug it in to the console with the USB cable. Leave it powerless for 5 minutes. Also, do a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Replace the batteries in the controller and test the functionality. Good Luck!
