    First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Now, I've noticed that whenever I use a picture on the Xbox dashboard the colours of it are not the same as they show in the media player when choosing a picture. The contrast seems to be a lot less. I'm
    an Xbox Preview member and have the new dashboard now. This is even more noticeable on the new dashboard. Anyone else notice this too?

    Sorry you're having issues changing your background picture. Try following the steps here and settings your background to an achevement or something off a USB drive.

    So we can kind of customize our dashboard right?

    All I want to do as add one of my favourite pictures to the Dashboard background like you can with 360. But heard you can only change the colour of the Dashboard background not put a picture? Is this true or will we have to wait for an update? If you can
    add a picture to the Dashboard background like for 360, they should allow you too for 1. M implies you can "personalize" your Xbox. Someone commented you may not be able to add a picture to the Dashboard background cuz the Tiles are live or something.

    In order to change your background, follow these steps:

    On your home screen go left and select Settings > All settings > Personalization > My color and background.

    Here you can change the color of the tiles and background.

    If you want a solid blue color, just select it by scrolling right.

    This should fix it! :)

    Edit: Does it change when you select a different color?
