Xbox One cutting off and on repeatedly

Discus and support Xbox One cutting off and on repeatedly in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am having issues with my Xbox One cutting off and on by itself.     Xbox One cutting off and on repeatedly


    I am having issues with my Xbox One cutting off and on by itself. It will start to work then it will start spazzing out like someone is continuously hitting the power button on the front of the Xbox. It will also do it as soon as I plug the power supply
    into the back of the Xbox.

    Hi LadyJaieJK,

    Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox. Are you meaning that it's turning off and on by itself? This could be related to power. I would suggest that if you have the Xbox plugged into a power strip that you bypass that and plug directly into the wall (this
    is recommended anyways). If that still doesn't solve your issue, try a different wall outlet.

    Finally if make sure all your power cables, and video cables are seated well in the console, it could just be a wire that's not in all the way Xbox One cutting off and on repeatedly :).

    There is no overscan available on the xbox one at the minute, I'm really hoping a option is added in the future as my tv also cuts the edge's off, it's really annoying when snapping apps as there's some cut off.

    Hi,

    This helped. After sitting down this weekend with the remote, I was able to add a delay after shutting down the XBone then turning off the receiver. So far so good, thanks Ghostly.

    Program your harmony to send the off command to the xbox first, then to the tv and lastly the av recievr. you should be able to customize the order of operations on the my harmony website.

    I haven't had that problem with my sony av receiver.

    May want to check if there is a firmware update for the receiver as well. http://firmware.denon.eu/index.php
