    alright, so I've been having problems with my Xbox one shutting off during a game. I've looked around and got some answers that might work but I wanted to double-check. so when I'm playing games like Fortnite or halo (i refuse to play other games in case
    it deletes something) my Xbox shuts off completely like the power supply box goes out (the color is usually a very light orange or regular orange) and I have to unplug the cord connecting to the outlet and mess around with it and it finally stars to work.
    I noticed that when I watch Netflix for a long period it won't shut off so I figured it had something to do with the cord or maybe overheating but I figured it would overheat watching Netflix for a long time I don't know. I figured that I would have to buy
    like a whole new cord so please let me know if I'm being an idiot or if I'm right.

    No, it is not normal for your Xbox to turn itself on in the middle of the night. And for the cutting off during an update sometimes the Xbox needs to restart during an update so that is normal, but if it is turning off and not restarting during an update
    that is not normal.

    It's hard to say, while we were "swimming in SP DLC" during the second game, it was abruptly cut off for the first game, right around the time that EA first got involved, I might add...:)

    Hi LadyJaieJK,

    Sorry you're having issues with your Xbox. Are you meaning that it's turning off and on by itself? This could be related to power. I would suggest that if you have the Xbox plugged into a power strip that you bypass that and plug directly into the wall (this
    is recommended anyways). If that still doesn't solve your issue, try a different wall outlet.

    Finally if make sure all your power cables, and video cables are seated well in the console, it could just be a wire that's not in all the way :).
