Hello, I would like to know how to get custom gamer pics. They are okay as Murda talked to support.(He is a community supporter)

You wont get a reply as no one from Microsoft reads these forums.

Yes,you will get banned for using custom gamerpics on the xbox one unless it's one you made using your avatar or avatar props via your console.

On the 360 you could use the vision cam to make a custom pic but only your friends could see it.

I just love how Microsoft never replies to guys who politely ask permission to check about harmless workarounds before they take advantage of it. It would put the issue to rest once and for all if they did. I may be mistaken here but didn't they allow that
way back in the early 360 days with a low resolution Webcam device. Now that you can't buy a wider array of GPs there is no reason to stonewall people when they could just have a Mod verify the pics before they get displayed on the profile. That way it could
at least be an eventual process of changing the pic.

Custom gamerpics are not ok & will get you suspended.

They are however coming in the future.The feature is being tested by a select few in the insider program at the moment so you will be able to use custom gamerpics at some point,not just now.

Support have a habit of giving out the wrong info.

I heard on the Xbox one beta app that you can use an image for a custom gamer pic, is that allowed for a custom gamer pic?

I’m having the same issue at the moment, I logged onto my Xbox the other day and my custom gamer pic has been removed and all my friends have default gamer pics, my friends can still see my custom gamer pic but I can’t see anyones

Edit: I restarted my console and I can see my custom gamer pic but no one elses

Avatar Items are automatically transferred and you can see them when customizing your avatar. Themes and Gamer Pics from 360 cannot be used on Xbox One. The only way to keep to use a 360 gamer pic is to not select an Xbox One pic.

I recommend that you sign into your Microsoft account on the Xbox console, use Profile & system and open My profile.

Use customize profile then, use change gamer-pic. Open Upload a custom image, then select the image.

Personally I do not use a custom image as a gamer-pic. I have no images saved on my Xbox console as files, to upload as a custom gamer-pic.

The ability to use a custom gamer pic has actually been temporarily disabled for all of players on Xbox try using a Xbox default gamer pic
