    Xbox One custom backgrounds I have designed

    per request I designed a gears of war one.

    Red Dead Redemption

    Thomas Patterson

    Connect a USB to console / Connect a source through DLNA

    Launch Media Player (either directly or through Settings>My Xbox > My background > Custom image)

    Navigate to source of your choosing (USB/DLNA)

    Navigate to folder/file of your choosing

    Select the jpg/png image - see it full screen.

    Once you are viewing the image full screen, hit the menu button.

    Select "Set as background"

    You will be sent back to the full screen view of the image. Hit nexus, see the image on Home.

    Hope someone will enjoy it..

    Custom Designed wwe12 xbox background i made (preview inside)

    so after playing some more WWE12 i was getting back to work on the computer

    and said i want a wwe12 bg for my xbox couldnt find one so i made one. under

    the preview is the high res just download it by rightclick and save. leave your

    thoughts, i also might make more in some of my spare time.

    Gray Fog

    Hey BigBrotherEarl,

    As stated it is by design of the console and possibly due to your custom background, when you mean custom I hope you are referring to a background downloaded from Xbox and not one you created yourself as I believe this would fall under the modification rules.
    Some backgrounds however may have a different type of "fog" or maybe have it removed completely so you might want to try some of these if you find them!

    Maybe try it without a custom background set and see if that makes a difference. I have a custom background set too (one from a Project Spark achievement) and I've never noticed it though, nor did I notice it before we had the ability to use custom backgrounds.

    Freezing during startup when loading Home Screen, then goes to a black screen.

    I have solved the problem, I believe. It was the custom background I had chosen failing to load, not the home screen.

    When I replaced the image with a different one from a USB stick the problem went away.

    Solution: change custom background image. I had to use the smart glass app to bring up the settings On the Xbox one.

    Good question.

    Customers currently have the option to change the color, theme and background of their profile how they want.

    I'm not sure if you have tried this yet, but for more info, be sure to review our page entitled
