Xbox One: Crushing me. Need help. MS Please read.

Dear Microsoft,

I have been a loyal Microsoft customer since I bought my first original Xbox I don't know how many years ago. I purchased maybe about 3 or 4 of the Xbox 360 consoles, because even though I got red rings of death, I still for some reason believed that
I was in some way going to be rewarded for it. However, after getting the Xbox One console at the midnight release, and blowing every last penny I had as a full-time student, I have been constantly let down ever since. First of all: my console was paid off
in the Summer of 2013, and I got an exclusive achievement and a controller with a sticker on it for that. While essentially every other country in the world besides the US received a free game with their console as a pre-order bonus. Unfortunately it doesn't
stop there. My midnight release console was broken, of course I was lucky enough to be one of those folks. I did get compensated with Dead Rising 3, which of the 2 launch titles I have played for the Xbox One so far, neither one is very impressive. I just
feel like I've been run over by Microsoft over the past few months. And not even to mention the price drops for the Xbox One in the UK with a free copy of Titanfall... I just do not understand the reasoning of giving away free stuff to everyone except your
loyal customers that have stuck with you through all the good times and bad from the US.

It has really frustrated me that there are a ton of things that are hinted to in articles, that are never followed up on by Microsoft. What have you been doing? Clearly not accepting constructive criticism for your next gen console and working on things.
It seems that you're more trying to cater to every whim of the European folks who don't want to buy your console to begin with. STOP GIVING FREE THINGS TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO BUY YOUR CONSOLE AND GIVE THEM TO THE LOYAL PAYING EXISTING CUSTOMERS BEFORE
YOU LOSE THEM. How about that for a business model? I know no one will end up reading this from Microsoft, which is just lovely. And why do you still charge FULL RETAIL PRICE for a DIGITAL VERSION OF A GAME... Especially Ryse. $60 still? As a digital copy?
You really need to re-work the whole digital download idea. There's no way I'm ever going to pay full retail price for a digital copy of the game without a ton of perks when I can just go get a physical copy from a store.

Finally, what happened to the "Games With Xbox Live Gold" Promotion? You say details later to come on the Xbox One version early this year, then hint towards the information coming out this month or a new game for free on Xbox One coming out this month,
and then never say anything about it. How about keeping your paying customers informed? That's certainly a rational idea, isn't it? I really need to see a ton of improvements from Microsoft if they ever want to see any of my money ever again.

gamertag change request

I don't like how people treat me on xbox live just because of my gamertag I need help changing it but I got no money to buy MS points.so please help me out for his one time xboxlive please.

 

in the UK the xbox one with titanfall is £399.99, that's $660. Far FAR more than what walmart is selling the Xbox one + Titanfall for ($500 + $60 = $560) so a whole $100 difference.

Not liking the games is an opinion, i am very much enjoying the 3 launch games i have (Battlefield, Forza & Dead rising), but again it is an opinion.

ryse is actually on sale now, for less than what it costs preowned, and other games will be following suit.

Games with gold will be coming to xbox one in the future.

 

I don't know where you get £400 being $660, its actually no more than $550 in US. And Ryse for me on every outlet I try and purchase from says that it is $60. But you can't disagree that the UK are being babied by Microsoft and given anything they could
ever want with the console, while those of us in the US are getting no recognition or anything. We got a "Free game" with our console. Killer Instinct. AKA Free-to-Pay game. Can't do anything with it unless you use microtransactions. Microsoft is really going
downhill fast.

 

Sorry, for some reason I was thinking Euros and not pounds. You were correct with the prices. But you also have to take into account how much the value of the US dollar has dropped in relation to other countries' currencies. But either way Microsoft is still
catering to those in the UK.

 

His point was that in the UK, the Pound amount they are paying is equivalent to 660 US Dollars (
400 UK Pounds in USD - Google-Suche ).

We're early adopters. That's what happens; the console drops in price and comes bundled with things. Our reward is that we've been playing it since Day One.

 

Ryse was on sale for $40 the past 2 weeks for digital download. There was a spot on the "featured" section for it right on the home screen, so you just missed it, it ended two days ago I think. As far as the discount goes, there are always going to be
discounts throughout the life of the console. Was 3-4 months too quick? Debatable, but not the point. If you expected a 100% working console with many games you thought you would enjoy until Titanfall, then that's your own decision. Can't blame MS for that
one.

 

That's true, and I understand that. But there were no perks to pre-order it. Because the quality of launch titles were very minutely better than the 360 versions. Had I known that, I would have never put down all the money to buy it.

 

You're currently in a tech support forum; this thread is better suited for the Feedback/Wishlist Forum. With that being said, you knew when you pre-ordered what the "perks" of pre-ordering the console were. I'm sorry that you feel that a company must reward
you for purchasing their product, but the fact is most companies won't. Microsoft
has rewarded it's customers quite a bit over the years; that doesn't mean that we should expect it.
