Xbox one crashing when launching certain games

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

Regarding this problem you are having, I recommend that you try the following solutions.

Solution 1:

Press and hold the "Power" button which is located on the front of the Xbox until the console turns off completely.

Unplug the power brick from the back of the console and make sure that you unplug it directly from the console and not the wall socket.

Press and hold the "Power" button of the console for at least 1 minute and release it. After releasing, press it a couple of times to completely discharge the static electricity.

Plug the power brick back in and wait for the orange light of the power button to turn white.

Press the "Power" button to turn the Xbox on.

*Test the problem games again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

*Select to keep your games and applications, so that they are not deleted, if the problem persists, choose to delete everything from the console, as there may be something corrupted in the system.

*Make sure you know your email and password as this procedure will remove the account from the console, and you will need to add it again.

Sorry to hear about the crashing issue, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted:

• After the the crashing issue occurs, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and plug your power cord directly into a wall outlet.
• Power on your console and try playing Neverwinter or Shadows of Mordor to see if the issue continues.

I've had games do this too, where I try to start them and it just crashes me back to the dashboard. But normally if I keep trying, they will eventually start. If not, try a hard reset, and if uninstalling and reinstalling the game hasn't helped either,
then try to contact Support. I've never had one where it never started even after trying multiple times, so I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you. Have you also tried to maybe transfer the game or reinstall it on an external device, and try to load
it from there? It might be worth a try.

This is not good. If you have an external hard drive you should try installing the game on the external drive and see if the problem persists. If it does then the console should be sent in for repairs. You can set this up at
