    Xbox one corrupted item


    Hi all, my xbox has been playing up a lot over the past 2 days approx. Ive been doing a lot of restarting my xbox, etc. And it was only today after Modern Warfare: Warzone (free version) crashed abruptly that i received an error message reading (we could
    not load this item. The item you’re trying use appears to be corrupt. Error code:***********) or something along those lines, i also cant remember the code. I followed the message’s instructions and uninstalled the game (after about 15 attempts to no avail).
    The game is now uninstalled however no other games will work properly and my xbox is running incredibly slow. It will not turn off without the forcing it (holding the power button on the xbox for about 15 seconds) and then takes about 5 mintutes to turn on,
    despite the usual 45 seconds approx. Has anyone else had this issue before and can anyone help me with this issue? Or suggest any possible solutions. Thank you for your time and any help would be greatly appreciated!

    It's possible there was a corruption in one of the items you deleted, and it was effecting the whole system.

    No, none of that worked. I only have one xbox live profile. The rest are just profiles on the xbox for my kids to play games. I did find a game that was corrupted. Could that be the issue? I deteled the corrupted file in the game. The corrupted file still
    shows up in the system items under memory unit. Should I delete it?

    Updates not working all of a sudden.

    I remember have similar issues ages ago which turned out to be caused by a corrupt avatar item.

    Check all the files on your hard drive and look for a corrupt file. Corrupt files usually have a yellow exclamation mark.

    If there are no corrupt files then the only other thing I can suggest is to try plugging xbox directly into your router if you have one.
