xBox One: Copy Saved Gameplay Data to my External Drive?

I am sorry it is not possible to move save data over to an External Drive.

If your playing while your connected to the internet your save is automatically backed up to the cloud when you close the game down.

If your were not online it will re-sync when you reconnect.

I don't think you can copy Xbox One save data to an external drive. The cloud system is meant to replace the user manually having to do all that. Plus its also meant to stop users tampering with save data.

I understand your concern about losing your data and settings. However, if you have tried everything else and the problem persists, a full factory reset may be the only solution.

Before performing a full factory reset, be sure to back up your important data. You can back up your data as follows:

Games and apps: You can connect an external drive to your Xbox and copy games and apps to the external drive.

Saved data: You can copy saved data to the cloud or to an external drive.

Settings: You can save your Xbox settings to an external drive.

If you perform a full factory reset and the problem persists, you can contact Activision support for help.

I'm looking to make a backup of that saved data as well.

Is it possible to also have a backup/saved copy on my external drive?
