xbox one controul not working right

yea my xbox one controul is not working right at all one night it died on me and i put it on the charger over night got up the next day the right bumper is not working at all and the right thumb stick is stuck up and i just going my xbox one and the controul
5 months ago can anyone help me

Xbox One not working right!

Every time I log onto my Xbox one the “A” button never works until I join a game. I tried my other remotes it doesn’t help at all. It shows on my screen I’m clicking “a” but it won’t do anything. I either have to hold it down for a really long time or just
spam “a” till it works. This is an only out of game problem once I’m in a game it doesn’t do it anymore. PLEASE HELP!

(Ps the only topic I can pick is IDARB and idk what it means but please help)

To start, can you try
checking to make sure those controllers are fully updated and let us know if you see any changes after that?

If not, the next step to try would be to
Reset the Console to Factory Defaults - there's an option that will keep your games/apps installed to the console, so you don't need to worry about redownloading those.

 

Press the Home button on your Xbox Controller and go to Games and Apps. In the Apps section select Settings. In the Settings menu you will find the System sub-menu to the right. Select System and at the bottom you will see Update Controller. Make sure you
have a USB to plug in, and if you use a headset, plug that in to!
