My 4th Xbox One Controller just broke on me 2 weeks ago since my Day One Controller. If I could transfer my account with my achievements to PS I would. This is ridiculous and I take Great care of my stuff. Can Microsoft give me a free one ? that's 240.00
in just 2 years SERIOUSLY? I still have my ORIGINAL Regular NES from 1985 and I still play it and it still works; controllers and all !!

Xbox One controller Question

Yes MS have stated that uou can have 8 controllers on one xbox. I wonder how that will work.

XB1 Battery Life?

Actually as far as I know there are four rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers as opposed to the two in the Xbox 360 Controller.. The Xbox One Controllers has the "impulse motors" in the triggers.. But I assume that onyx62is could have ment to say that
there are two more rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers than there is in the 360 controllers..

Hi there,

The controllers, are they breaking after the store return period is over, and/or outside the manufacturer's 90 day warranty so they can't be repaired?

Have you looked to see if there is a repair option, that might be less than purchasing a new controller here:

If you don't mind me asking, if you've gone through that many controllers that quickly, by the third one, did you think to look at the extended warranty option that many stores offer when you purchase electronics?

Unfortunately no one in forums can answer about getting you a free replacement as most of the people responding to questions are users just like yourself

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
