This is why I play with my own personal controller and don't let anyone else touch it. My controllers never get worn out or sticky. I don't like other people's grubby hands on my stuff.

^ What Bizzaro said..... my controller, hands off! I have a spare controller my little guy can trash, and even after numerous trips down the stairs it still works 100%....

I had a old secondhand one with loose thumb sticks which I replaced but it recently started having battery charging issues.

I had another with a dodgy right bumper guessing one of my nephews might of dropped it.

I Recently bought the new one with the improved bumpers and headphone jack. The bumpers are a lot more responsive and are quite sensitive. Hopefully this one stays alive for a long time. So far I am happy with it.

The new elite controller looks awesome but it isn't cheap at $200.00 Aud. I think I'll pass.

If that Elite controller was £40-£50 cheaper I'd be all over it, I really do like the look of it, I just don't think I can bring myself to drop that amount of cash for it.

I need to get ahold of one and have a good play with it before I made my mind up.

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
