    Hi people

    I was wondering if anyone knew of any other 3rd party wired controllers that are compatible with xbox one as my son has went through 3 of wireless ones in nearly a year , and at £40+ per controller it's getting costly lol , so I thought a cheaper 3rd party
    one might be the answer for him ( or me if I've got to keep buying him them )

    XB1 Battery Life?

    Actually as far as I know there are four rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers as opposed to the two in the Xbox 360 Controller.. The Xbox One Controllers has the "impulse motors" in the triggers.. But I assume that onyx62is could have ment to say that
    there are two more rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers than there is in the 360 controllers..

    what the heck is he doing to them?!?! my dig keeps pushing mine off the couch and it still works perfectly after 9 months.

    and no, i have not seen any yet on the market.

    Thanks for the reply's guys ,

    The first time he broke one I got it repaired / replaced !

    He is a bit harsh with the analogue sticks causing them to break and his temper caused one to break but he has been warned this time as if it happens again I'm giving his sister his xbox one Xbox one controllers :)

    There currently is no wired controllers for xbox one.

    The controllers we currently have run as if they are wired controllers when an Micro USB Cable gets plugged in.

    To be fair the controllers are hardly the most durable design, so don't be too hard on him for general wear and tear issues. The Xbox 360 controller was far more superior in terms of build quality.

    You have a very good point " unreal warfare " as he has not went through as many 360 controllers than xbox one , I was just thinking that maybe there was one that worked with it , as we have tryed his 360 ones and they don't ! Xbox one controllers :( but you'd think that a wired
    one would work tbh ?

    Hopefully sometime soon they will let some be compatable

    If your son is old enough to get an allowance, maybe the cost of these new controllers should come from that. In most cases, things are better taken care of when one has to pay for it themselves. Just a thought...

    Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
