Xbox one controllers are such junk. I have 2 xbox ones and have 4 controllers. 2 of them started, drifting, or looking up on games a few months ago. No biggie, we have 2 other good controllers, right? Wrong, not long after that another controller started
doing the same thing, but not as bad And we still had a good controller. Yesterday, my son was playing call of duty advanced warfare and, he said, the controller shut off. He put new batteries in and it wouldn't turn back on. Today I tried putting new batteries
in and it won't turn on. I went and bought another controller, but this will be the last Microsoft controller I buy. The old Xbox 360 controllers were built really well, but these are crap. I hope Microsoft didn't intentionally build these cheap, knowing
people will buy more and they will make more money. Either way, they are not getting more from me. I'm going to be looking for third party controllers and buying 3 more that will last.

    :)

    XB1 Battery Life?

Actually as far as I know there are four rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers as opposed to the two in the Xbox 360 Controller.. The Xbox One Controllers has the "impulse motors" in the triggers.. But I assume that onyx62is could have ment to say that
there are two more rumble motors in the Xbox one Controllers than there is in the 360 controllers..

Controllers have a 90day warrenty, if it breaks within that time you can get it fixed or replaced. If you break this many controllers you must ask yourself a question. Is it the manufacturing of the controller which is bad, or do I need to change my playstyle.
Looking at how many people play Xbox One and seeing how much of a small percentage come on the forums to talk about their controller breaking I believe it's your or your son's playstyle which may be breaking the thumbstick mechanism inside.

  5. You're right, we play aggressively to win. We play live mostly. I am comparing these controllers to the Xbox 360 controllers which lasted years. In fact on the Xbox 360 controllers it seems like the battery connections wore out before the controller did
and they cost less. I still feel like they are made cheap and will be buying more from another manufacture.

  7. Seems to me that you aren't taking care of the controller. Maybe raging and slamming it down? I have had mine since the Xbox one launched and I even dropped it many of times but still works perfectly fine.

I don't slam the controller. I do play FPS games. The left toggle stick gets worked hard, especially on advanced warfare, you constantly run and boost dodge. Sounds to me like you play mine craft and your controllers never see any action.

  10. I must have gotten the only bad controllers. You should Google it. I have and they're junk. You commented on the ratio of people that play that complain about controllers. How about the amount of people that play and actually comment on hundreds of other
topics? I'm glad you have good controllers. There are hundreds, probably thousands of xbox one controllers that were built sub par compared to the Xbox 360 controllers. I posted this to see if others have the same problems, or suggest better controllers,
    not to argue with you.

  11. Haha I play Advanced warfare and all the other shooters that are out on Xbox. Not arguing either just stating things that could be the reason. No need to get pissy buddy.

My controller keeps disconnecting mid game

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

    Controller issues

Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

Does the Xbox One S console have Bluetooth Capability? I.E Bluetooth Headsets

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    Wireless controls

    Hi there,

A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
