Discus and support XBOX One Controllers will not work thru one normal (non metal) wall, my 360 controllers do ... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there anyway to get the wireless controllers to work thru one wall wirelesses? even a repeater would be fine. works fine with my 360 system....     Is there anyway to get the wireless controllers to work thru one wall wirelesses? even a repeater would be fine. works fine with my 360 system. essentially everything is on an audio rack in the closet and there is one thin- drywall wall- in between. thanks.

    they must have changed the frequency!

    Xbox One Elite Controller connectivity issues

    How far away are your controllers from the console when you normally play? Also, while you stated you have removed metal objects in the way, is there anything else between you and the console? I'd clear out as many physical objects as possible, even if not
    metal.

    Just to bring in my personal experience, the Xbox One controllers have a far weaker wireless connection to the console compared to the Xbox 360 controllers. I remember I could take the latter controllers downstairs through many thick walls and closed doors;
    you could call in a remote airstrike with these things. The Xbox One is located at the foot of my bed, and my Xbox One controllers disconnect if I so much as take them as far as the headboard of my bed. These controllers are the most sensitive devices to interference
    I've ever owned.

    That's just my two cents.

    Problems with a controller....

    There may be some metallic residue in your mic jack for your controller. Try to find a way to safely clean a jack with a non-metallic/magnetic device. These issues as well as shorts are normally reflect how worn a controller is. That could be the highest
    possibility as to why you're having that issue.

    Hi So sorry to her this.. Do you have another controller to try or a basic non elte controller.. I have a few controller I go thru to test the mic. If all works out then it maybe the mc. If the mic not working i some controller then its the controller.

    A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
