Xbox One controller's right joystick randomly over or undershoots?

My Xbox One controller's right joystick sometimes over or undershoots - moving too fast or slow even though I'm applying the same pressure. This goes a long way to ruining first person shooters, and the kicker is that this is my third controller. The first
lasted a little over a year - just long enough for the console's warranty to expire, naturally. I bought a brand new controller. Within four months, the left bumper on that became less responsive. It registered a press maybe half the time, which is not acceptable
for a fast-paced game like Overwatch. I shipped the controller to Microsoft - at my expense - and the replacement I'm using now has a joystick go bad in a month and a half? Really? Why are Xbox One controllers such garbage?

I tried going through the same warranty process, but as you can guess, there are no offers listed to replace a replacement. I'd rather have my old controller with the bad bumper back. So what am I supposed to do? I just received an email that Xbox Live Gold
was set to auto-renew in October. Well guess what? That got promptly canceled. I'd rather buy a cheap gaming rig to replace this aging laptop and go back to WoW than buy anymore MS junk.

Call me old fashioned but

I have real difficulty with the Xbox type controller's and was wondering if anyone knows if microsoft have any plans to develope a joystick controller, similar to the flight joystick controller's avaliable. Or has anyone used these joystick types to pay
games other than flight games??

I am being called old fashioned by the kids and getting nowhere using the xbox controllers, and it is getting frustrating, after forking out nearly £50 a game, it would be nice to be able to play one!!

Whilst writing, anyone working on Lemming's for Xbox??? used to love them.

HOW TO FIX AN XBOX 360 CONTROLLER IF JOYSTICK IS NOT WORKING.

Hello, my xbox 360 controller's right joystick isn't working properly. When I turn left it is fine but when I turn right it slows down. Sometimes it does a superslow right turn. So when im playing I sometimes constantly have to turn left to get to places.
What's wrong with it?

Nevermind, this issue seems specific to Overwatch...it's not like it was hard to believe it was the controller.

I have had the same issue all day, my controller turns off randomly and my left joystick is slow

Today I was trying to make it works again, then I ended up controlling my Xbox through my mobile, but then the joystick and another buttons were randomly being pressed.

So, it looks like BOTH controllers, somehow, managed to send commands to my Xbox One every time

For this current state of the problem, I can recommend the following steps to take.

1.Make sure your controller has fresh batteries and is up to date.

2.Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10
3.seconds.

3.Once your console is off, unplug the power cable.

4.Wait 5 minutes and then connect your console.

5.Turn on your console and try to resync the controller with your console again.
