Xbox One Controllers losing connection pervasively

My xbox one has become unplayable as both of my controllers are constantly disconnecting or they are connected (the xbox light is solid on them) and they cease to work.

Steps I've done to troubleshoot:

Updating everything

USB connection, power cycling, etc

Sync button (which appears to not function at all)

Resetting

Fresh batteries

Youtube videos

I sought help at the Microsoft website support and that didn't help at all.

Now, I'm in the middle of the soft factory reset and my controller stopped working and wont connect again.

Anybody have any bright ideas? I'd really appreciate it.

Do the controllers work when you use a wire?

If it's purely happening when it's wireless, could you try using the Xbox in a different room and see if the problem persists? The Xbox One wireless controllers use a normal wifi signal, and as such sometimes there can be interference from other wireless
devices such as routers if they're sharing the same channel.

I had that issue in my TV room where the wireless router was as well. I went into the wireless router's settings and changed the channel frequency at which it broadcast the wireless signal, and that seemed to help a lot with my controller disconnection issues.

Is this happening on only one Xbox One, or both of them? as it could be an issue with the console losing connection to the controller as oppose to there being an issue with the controller.

Mine did the same thing when I first got it. It remedied itself for me, because it hasn't done it for awhile now. I'm not sure if it was an update or what it was. Maybe try Uninstalling the updates, and try re-downloading everything and see if that helps?
I recall doing a system reset, so maybe it was that. It's been months tho, so I can't remember off the top of my head.

What is going on with Bingo these days? Since Thursday or Friday, ongoing issue with "connection in progress" when transitioning from completed game to game rewards board, thereby losing all bingos &/or rewards; sometimes after spending tickets for additional
5s. I have lost at least 10 bingos plus keys and luggage card rewards since Sunday. I observed from reading 'chat' posts that this problem is pervasive!

Every week there seems to be some sort of 'connectivity' problem. Why can't a permanent remedy be found!!!!???@@###*** Don't need this kind of aggravation!
