Xbox One controller's left trigger or right trigger held down indefinitely (Windows 10)

I've been using my Xbox One controller on my PC since the drivers were released. It used to work almost flawlessly when I had windows 8.1, but a windows 10 update seems to have broken the controller. Every game I play with a controller acts like I'm holding
either the left trigger or right trigger down the entire time I'm playing. Please help, my controller is completely useless right now.

I tried jt, I held down {right} trigger + tapped {left} trigger, batarang was equipped.

But it still didnt work for me.

Has me thinking an upgrade may be required, is there one?

I tried it on the PC windows 10 and in red it says "the right trigger can't be mapped to the left trigger" in the button mapping

 

Some DirectInput based games don't understand split trigger support in the Xbox One controller. You can see the difference in the axes for joy.cpl(Start->Run->joy.cpl) using a 360 controller vs an Xbox One controller (3 axes for 360 vs 4 for Xbox One). Please
list the games you're facing trouble with as this is a game specific problem.

 

Unfortunately, almost every game I own have this same problem. The worst part is Microsoft just ignore it for so long. Since the release of Windows 10 Technical Preview, many users of the Xbox One controller on windows showed this defect and to this day,
nothing has been done. The support does not work and no one says anything about it or directs the users to a possibility of repair. New devices are being launched and those who have acquired the old version of the Xbox One controller are helpless.
