Xbox one controllers keep disconnecting ?

Hello, I have a problem where my xbox one controllers keep disconnecting. well I say disconnecting but In reality the controller still on but the console says that there is no controller detected. It also does it when i have left my controller for a while
and it has switched off but when i switch it back on it acts like it is connected to the console but i cannot control the console. sometimes I can solve the problem by re syncing the controllers but half of the time the sync button will not work on the xbox
one. The problem has started getting worse since i have started using my Kinect again. I don't know if it is a possible xbox one issue where it is crashing ? Anyone got any advice. also Plugging it in with a usb does not work either when this happens.

Tried it all again and I found out what it was, the controllers I've been getting are for the Xbox One S and X and they're not compatible with the original Xbox One. I have verified it with 9 people even 3 more on reddit that they will disconnect on the
original xbox one. My friends bought a used one to test it and they all have the same problems so it's the controllers.

Try the following troubleshooting steps (even if you already tried some of those, I'll explain why you should try again):

Take a Micro-USB data cable. Be aware, that a lot of phone charging cables only have the power lines connected, but no data lines. So make sure you get a cable that really has the data lines connected as well.

Connect the controller to the console via that cable, and check if the controller works. While you're at it, check if the controller requires a firmware update.

The reason for that is, that when the controller detects it's being connected to a console through USB data lines, it will turn off it's radio, and essentially be a wired controller.

So if the controller disconnects here, then your controller is really defective, and you might just have had bad luck and get multiple defective controllers in a freaky coincidence.

If the controller works via the USB cable connected to the console, remove the batteries from the controller, and insert the USB cable into a phone charger or USB power supply.

Since the controller isn't connected to the console, it will re-enable it's wireless radio and transmit controller signals wirelessly, while getting power from a reliable power source.

If the controller works that way, your batteries are faulty. If the controller loses the connection that way, check if there is radio interference around you. Be it neighbors with a wireless baby monitor, microwave ovens, or other devices that can interfere
with a wireless signal.

Try to get closer to the console, and see if that improves the situation.

If getting closer to the console resolves the issue, check your surrounding for devices that cause wireless interference.

Should getting closer to the console still cause issues, and multiple controllers still disconnect, it might be that the receiver in the console is defective and you need to get your console serviced.
