Xbox ONE controllers are poorly manufactured :(

I can actually pull up on my thumb sticks and they click like into place weird. I have had the wandering issue recently but it stops when I move them around a bit. I wonder if re updating the the controller would fix the wandering issue.

 

My One controller was broken out of box *sigh*. The right bumper is loose somehow. Like, it actually hangs weirdly. Gonna see if I can get a replacement. Do these controllers have a 90-day warranty like the 360 controllers?

 

I'm just waiting for the day my left thumb stick snaps off!

I haven't had my Xbox One that long, but to me the Xbox One controller feels a lot more flimsy when compared to the Xbox 360. No problems so far

In the case of Pinball FX the input delay wasn't related to the controller but rather the game. There were numerous threads about it in other forums and switching your TV to "game mode" resolved the problem for the vast majority of people. It solved my problem.

So I'd try that with NHL before you spend the money on the 360 version, may be a simple fix.

 

Yes I have had exactly this issue, Furthermore the Chat headset seems to be similar in nature. Until Destiny I rarely used either of these items. now I have put in about 60 or so hours o gaming into them and am seeing lots of issues. I got at least 1000
hours of gaming out of the 360 hardware. Minimum 1.5 years out of each one. This, combined with the lack of newer accessories (Wireless headset please) is really starting to push me in the PS4 direction.

I know no one at MSFT really cares about me as an individual, but we as customers have been very patient and loyal with this system and Xbox as a whole. Give me a reason not to regret that please.......

The RT stopped working on one of our day one controllers, luckily we got that replaced straight away.

Our other day one controller developed a weird sqeak again on the RT, odd though as it has now gone away lol

Other than that they have been ok, love the overall feel of these new pads and the feedback.

 

TBF i have had my controller since launch works fine still

 

Why are you buying yet more controllers, instead of having them replaced under warranty?

 

I'm on my 3rd but I'm clumsy with my pads but I did expect them to take more of a knock

 

ive had my X1 since launch and both my controllers are junk. they both have left thumb stick drift. one controllers drifts down and the other up and right. but if you look at my controllers both are centers by eye.

I ended up yesterday going and buying the new call of duty limited edition controller for 70.00. I love it but do HOPE they have learned and this controller does NOT get those issues. Controllers cost far to much to keep replacing

 

I'm not a fan of the Xbox one controllers. I hate the new style LB and RB buttons! : (
