    Xbox One Controllers and problems with using headsets


    Hi,

    We have gone through several controllers over the last couple years. The controllers themselves work fine when it comes to game play. However, we have run into issue after issue with the headphone jack no longer working. The headphones when plugged into
    other devices work as expected. This seems to be a fault of the controllers themselves as it has happened on more than 3 controllers. Has anyone run into this and if so is there a way to fix them or some remedy we can employ. Its seems just dropping it once
    on the floor and make the head phone jack no long work.

    I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting articles:




    If the problem persists:

    • Try your Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working.
    • Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues.
    • Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
      updating the first controlleragain.
