Xbox One Controller...

Hi, I am writting here because I don't know what to do anymore about the Xbox One controllers. I am not rich and buying a new controller is somewhat too expensive, I can't afford anymore. I have to buy a 4th controller now because the last 3 broke.

Let me share you my experience with Xbox One controllers so far, and please be aware that I do not hit and break them on purpose, I do not rage and throw them on my walls, nothing of the sort. Everything started when I bought my Xbox One Day One Edition,
I plugged the beast in, all hyped to play Ryse: Sons of Rome, and awwwweeee my B button doesn't work. I have to run to where I bought my console (BestBuy) and exchange my controller for another one, losing the Day One Edition controller.

Anyone would agree, this is a very bad start. Than, after a year, the plastic on the right side, near the Right Trigger, just crack and a small plastic triangle fall in my hand, leaving a hole in the controller. My bad what happened? I don't know but I don't
mind, the controller still work. After a while, the LB button stop working, for no reason. I decided to use that controller for science and opened it up. Nothing seem physicaly broken inside, all the mechanic work just fine. Time to buy a new controller. I
use this new controller until the exact same thing happen, the same plastic triangle, the LB button still work thought but not well; I can't hold still my shield in Dark Souls, making the game impossible for me and my play style. This time I decided to buy
a PDP Prismatic Afterglow Xbox One controller, because the plastic looked much harder than the official Xbox one, and it was 5$ less expensive and I liked the neon light inside it. Got no problem until the LB button stopped working (This is not a commonly
used button...). I mapped the LB button on the wheel behind the PDP controller and everything was fine. Than came today, The A button stopped working. Mapping A to a wheel behind is out of the question. So I am here again, having to buy a 4th controller.

I do not squeeze my controller or press button harder then you are supposed to. I never got those problem on any other console including Xbox 360 and original Xbox. Right now I don't feel like spending my money on a new controller and I don't feel like playing
anymore because I'll just keep telling myself that this is more fragile than an egg shell and that I should only look at it, not touch it. After 3 controller, I believe that if I buy a 4th one, the same thing will happen. Even if I was playing too hard with
the controllers, why did it never happen with my Xbox 360 controller? I still have my Super Nintendo controller and they work perfectly fine, and god knows how we were rough with those when we were kids.

So I don't know what to do. I believe there are ugly PDP controller which cost 35$ but still, it might break anytime leaving me with one more deceased controller and having to buy a 5th one.

Am I the only one having trouble with the Xbox One controllers?

Old Xbox controller

If you mean the duke controller, you can't use the original controller. You would need to buy the newer version for the Xbox one which is this
