    hello hoping I can find some answers or help here. I need to find out if there is a way to keep my controller from going to sleep (turning off)

    I play F1 2016 and have the hole racing seat setup. And the only way to get the head phone to work is by plugging them into the controller. And it is beyond annoying that the controller keeps turning off because of no activity.

    Microsoft please add a feature where we can turn this sleep mode on or off.

    I have contacted support before and they told me to plug the controller in Via USB. I have done that and the dam thing still turns off.

    Microsoft if people can't remember to turn their controller off they are just going to have to buy more batteries. Or buy rechargeable one.

    You see you appease one group and upset another.

    I keep looking for answers you would be amazed how many people are complaining about this issue. You can at least give us the option to decide if we want it going to sleep or not.

    Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

    A 360 controller will work with a 360 console, and an Xbox one controller will work with an Xbox One, but a 360 controller will not work with an Xbox One and vice versa.
