Xbox One Controller ?

unlucky for me I still cant use my xbox one :/ after a 3 hour gaming session my hand is to painful to use the controller.

I rested my hand all of yesterday because of the pain, although still in pain today lol (wtf ?)

starting to P*** me off now, my hand is a little better but my thumb joint on my left hand is still very painful.

I never had this issue with the old xbox 360 controller ?

as much as I hate to admit this, once my hands is better if the xbox one controller does this again to my hand then I may have look for a different design controller :/ or stop using the xbox one

Does anyone know of a different design controller for the xbox one ? of if a third party will releasing a different design ...

like I have said this is very odd to me, I never had this from gaming before?

its like the new design is not suited to my hands (although I do have big hands but I had no issue with the xbox 360 controller?)

I was also wondering if any one else has had this problem while gaming with the xbox one controller? it probs just me and my luck lol but thought I would ask.

If you mean the duke controller, you can't use the original controller. You would need to buy the newer version for the Xbox one which is this

Xbox one controller

So I went on the repair page for replacing my broken xbox controller and on one of the steps it gives me an option to choose a replacement controller. Theres 4 options xbox one controller, xbox one controller 3.55mm, xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 black
and xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 white. Are the v2 controllers the latest ones.

 

That's called carpel tunnel syndrome.

 

I have the same thing. Not as bad as you but I can definitely feel my hands cramping up quicker when in a fast moving gaming session.

Not an ideal solution but if streaming to a Windows 10 PC you can use a 360 controller.

just been looking around the net there are a few (not many though) people who gets the same thing as I have after using the xbox one controller, also some who use the PS4 controller.

it could be just because the design change and my hand not used to yet or the only other thing I can think of it I have quit big hands .. well I say big hands more like long fingers.

the pain is a bit like if you have been playing the guitar for a long time although that more like cramp and goes away after 10 mins where as this is the second day of pain ?

I think what probs happened is, I have been pushing the left thumb stick Up fairly hard with out realising at the time of intense gaming.

but it just seems odd for it to happen now because I never had any issues before which other people have said the same thing,

shame I could not use the 360 controller as I never had this probs with that controller..

 

the only down side with streaming I think it uses my internet up.

I'm on a 7gig per month limit atm :/ which I am stuck with for a while..

(this is why it would be handy if you could download game updates on usb, then I could use my mates 100mb line to get them, as for now I have luck out on any large game updates which sucks hard lol)

 

Well, I for 1, hope you find a solution to your issue. I'd hate to lose you so soon after we just gained you as a new community member.

Also, take breaks during long sessions!

 

I dont think streaming games uses the internet just your own home router i could be wrong

 

cheesy is right. The streaming uses your home network, not the internet, so your bandwidth would not be used up.

yea I'm sure I will, I think its just a case of not getting to carried away in the moment and pushing the left thumb stick to hard.

I guess I just have to relax my left hand while playing and not grip the controller like I'm hang on for dear life while pushing the thumb stick probs way to hard that's causing a lot of preasure on my thumb joint.

the pain is enough to have taught me a lesson lol

just hope it clears up soon, so I can enjoy gaming again lol

I'm starting to think it a mix of things like long fingers, new design that my hand is not used to, gripping the pad and pushing thumb stick probs way to hard with out realising in moments of intense game play.

either way lesson learned and something I will stay aware of while gaming with the xbox one controller.

other than that not a lot I can do.

I have tendon damage in my right I found using the little rubber rings for more control in fps games really helped with the pain I would get playing for long periods also changing controls helped to it take some getting used to but swapping the sticks control
layout

ahh that would be good if it only use my network bandwidth and not my online data limit.

although I'm sure when I first tested streaming it used up my internet data limit ?

I will test this later and let you know ( I only have around 3.8gig data limit left, not sure I will check before and after game streaming testing)

 

Try unplugging the Internet from your router if it still streams you know your good to go it will still use some of your bandwidth as your Xbox will still be online

 

cant do that because you have to be logged into your Microsoft account on both systems, I tried that before when I was sure it was using my internet data usage up.

if I remember correctly once I disconnect the internetfrom the router my pc would not let me use the streaming feature until I reconnected the internet...

somit like that anyway.
