Xbox one controller

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before,if it hasn't I would be amazed,what is going on with these controllers I am on my 3rd one in a month,first it was the red rings on the 360 now it's the controller on Xbox one can't Microsoft get anything right
first time round,

The 360 pads were great so why did they change the inside,I had a 360 for years and had the same pad for the duration,does anyone know if this problem is getting sorted,and please dont say just return it and swap it,I've done that already and frankly getting
well annoyed with it now,

And my problem is the left stick stops working after a couple of days,I know it is probably been broken with the pressure of my thumb but it should be built to withstand that kind of roughness.

If you mean the duke controller, you can't use the original controller. You would need to buy the newer version for the Xbox one which is this

Had my controller since Day one and no problems with it. Dropped it a fair few times as well.

 

same her, use my day one pad all the time and the kids use it, fully operational and no problems hardware wise, take it back and get one elsewhere, must have got a bad batch somehow.

 

Yeah been using the same controller from launch too, havent had a problem, i guess you have just been unlucky or using excessive force

 

I can't be unlucky as I've googled it and there's a lot of people having the same problem

It's mostly when there playing Fifa, I know what it is ,it's the clip on the side of the mechanism that works the stick,they made it from plastic and on the 360 the whole housing is made of metal,

so with some hefty gaming the clip comes off ,I took it apart before and doused it in epoxy so it can't move will try it tomorrow,if it works I'm gonna do my other pad as well

They obviously do not test the pads properly because if they did they would know a plastic clip is no good they might as well of made it from wet paper

 

No Problems with my controller in the 5 months I have had my console.

On my 3rd PS4 controller tho so XO cant be that bad. Ask me again in another 5 months tho.

OP try and keep a controller for use when not playing fifa and see if you still have the same problem since you say it happens when playing fifa.

 

It has been 6 months now and microsoft are still no closer to fixing the controller disconnect issue there are a lot of gamers who can not play for more than 30 seconds without the controller disconnecting we have spent a lot of money on games and accessories
that we can not play or use I have had to go back to playing my 360 because microsoft have taken thier time because they do not know how to fix this issue here's a thought try removing the system updates and start again so that we can finally play our overpriced
paperweights and please hurry up with this I am close to switching to Sony ps4 which I don't like just so I can play next gen games thank you hope you fix this soon we are getting impatient

 

If you gonna switch to ps4 just do it, they don't read these forums and So saying that isn't going to improve things lol, I only occasionally get disconnected thankfully, only problem I get is the xbox doesn't turn on all the time when powering it on from
the controller

 

I am only saying I am thinking of switching because once again Microsoft have messed up and what is the point of having a next gen console if you can not play it because of a fault by microsoft

 

Get a replacement controller.

Sorry but if this issue was as widespread as you say then the support forums would be full of people complaining about it.

You may have a faulty controller or console.

 

Not on your own I'm on my third controller also. Left stick, can hear piece rattling around inside. Same here playing Fifa.

 

There's a thread in the Support forums regarding faulty/broken controllers. It's currently 38 pages long, full of complaints.

I can assure you this is a big issue, I've had the same thing happen to me, and read a lot about it online. I'd advise anyone with controller problems to head on over there, and if nothing else at least add to the thread because the more people that raise
the issue, the more chance we have of getting it fixed. They can't ignore it forever.... can they?

 

I said above ask me again in 5 months, well 2months later my controller has broken, same problem as the op aswell left stick wasnt woprking properly.

No biggie luckily as im still in warranty just took it back to the shop for a new one.
