    xbox one controller wont work on my windows 10 pc

    I need to ask, have you been able to follow up with "How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC" , and does the
    controller work when it is connected to your PC through the USB port? Also, if you haven't already done so, may I suggest double checking "How
    to update your Xbox One Controller on Windows 10    " .

    Xbox One controller keeps disconnecting

    Hi,

    When I connect my Xbox One Wireless Controller to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth it will work then randomly disconnect. Windows 10 says that it is still connected even though it isn't since the Xbox button on the controller is flashing. Any suggestions? Thanks

    the problem was with the Anniversary Update, I deleted the update, and returned to 1511 windows 10, and it worked.

    the problem was with the Anniversary Update, I deleted the update, and returned to 1511 windows 10, and it worked.

    Xbox One controller doesn't work with Windows 7 laptop

    the answer is it is a wireless controller they dont work with the usb charging cable ive tried it on windows 7 and 10 you need a proper wired controller apparently.
    That's true for 360 controllers, but not Xbox One. The Xbox One controllers work wired and via wireless on PC. My wiress controllers all work fine via the micro USB cable on my PC.

    Windows 7 doesn't come with drivers built in to the OS though, they may need need to be downloaded manually if Windows update isn't picking up the controller.
