    Xbox one controller wont turn on.


    Today I picked up my controller and it wouldn't turn on. However when I held down the Home button It lights up and allows me to use it while holding the home button. When I release the Home button it turns off. Now I did open it up and put new buttons on
    it and I wonder if the buttons are affecting the home button. The home button is still the same button that came with the controller. I have 2 controllers that now do this. When I connect them via a cable it still functions however one of my controllers has
    the home button that doesn't even work this way. After school today I am going to change the buttons back. Please note I did not harm the controller in any way and I don't know if the warranty will still stand if I decide that I need a new controller. The
    controllers still function completely still. (besides the home button obviously....)

    xbox mic cuts of controller?

    so when ever i plug the mic into the xbox one wireless controller the controller just magically turns off and wont turn back on?

    if this a faulty controller or something?

    Hey JuliusSeizure50! Check out
    these     steps and see if they help resolve the issue at all. I would suggest trying the controller on a different console if possible. Post back and let us know how it goes!

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    When you say your controller wont connect do you mean the controller wont turn on or do you mean the controller does turn on but it is just not connected

    October's update made my console garbage

    Same here... When you turn on the xbox one x (didnt check if it happens with xbox one s) from the controller, about 5 seconds after that it looses sync to it and wont re-sync until you shut down the controller and turn it on again, tried it on 3 different
    consoles with 6 different controllers, all that happened after the last update
