xbox one Controller wont turn off issue

hello, i have been having an issue with my Xbox one controller. while using my Xbox my controller disconnects or stops working with my xbox and wont interact when i press buttons. my games don't say reconnect controller they just get stuck int he action
that im preforming. the controller wont turn off by holding the home button or the sync button or both combinations.

it happens about once a day and it sometimes doesn't reconnect to my Xbox for 2-3 attempts after i remove the battery.

i left it to sit once to see what happens and it did nothing for over 4 hours until its battery went flat, it didn't auto off or reconnect to the Xbox one.

and ideas what the issue might be? the controller is about a year old it came with my console and it has been a recent issue im trying to rectify.

xbox mic cuts of controller?

so when ever i plug the mic into the xbox one wireless controller the controller just magically turns off and wont turn back on?

if this a faulty controller or something?

 

anyone help me my wireless headset is stuck on port 2 and wont sync to port 1

my wireless headset wont sync to port one with my controller it just goes to port two and wont work but when i turn my controller off it goes to port one and works but wont work with my controller on anyone help me ???

I'm sorry to see any issues with the controller not reacting to input! If you haven't already, give the steps in our

Xbox One Wireless Controller Disconnects support article a try. This should point you in the direction of a resolution.

Some of the things to call out are make sure
the controller is updated, and then try using a microUSB to USB cable to connect the controller to the console directly. Let me know how these work, and we'll see what our next steps are!

hi, so i tryed out them things, nothing worked. i updated the controller and it only now works with the usb cable that i got with the rechargeable battery.

any ideas?

Interesting! I'm sorry to see it's still not working. I do see that you've removed the battery a few times. Do you have any extra AA batteries you can throw in the controller to see if it's a defective rechargeable battery? That's the only other thing I
can think of other than replacing the device.

i just bought some new battery's and a new battery pack and nothing. i took the console and the controller into eb games (the supplier i got the unit from) and they had a look. they said the wireless transmitter is burnt out. i got the diagnosis today.

thanks for the help though =)

the controller was replaced free of charge.
