Discus and support xbox one controller wont sync with my pc trough USB in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; first of all sorry for posting for the third time but when i check "my posts" on the forum it seems like they're gone for some reason so my problem is...     xbox one controller wont sync with my pc trough USB


    first of all sorry for posting for the third time but when i check "my posts" on the forum it seems like they're gone for some reason

    so my problem is I have an xbox one controller connected to my pc which has windows 10 and the anniversary update through USB but when i try to turn on the controller the xbox logo will flash 8-10 times and will go dark right after ( same as when the controller
    wont sync with an xbox one console)

    the controller has no batteries in it because its connected to the pc through USB anyway and it used to work untill a few weeks ago and it works on my xbox right now so i dont think that something wrong with the cable or the controller it self...

    It will be great if you manage to find a way to help me

    Wireless Controller Adapter keeps needing resync on PC startup

    I have an Xboxe One wireless adapter for my PC so I can use the Xbox One controller with PC games.

    Every time I restart my PC I have to resync my controller. Actually, it never even wants to sync again unless I unplug the USB device, plug it back in and then hit the sync buttons.

    I am sick of doing this every time I boot my PC. I tried the troubleshooting tips already (use USB extender cable, do't have it near metal, etc). Any suggestions?

    Controller wont connect to Windows 10

    When I plug the controller in it vibrates and also my headset adapter has a light and it lights up whenever I turn on the controller, but the Xbox home button wont light up and wont sync to my PC (this is all used with a micro usb cable). I looked in the
    device manager and it doesn't pop up there. Also what is weird is that sometimes the controller will randomly connec when i come back from school and turn on my computer.

    To simplify: my controller is powered, but wont sync to my PC

    ...and the Xbox button doesn't light up

    To do so you need to connect the controller to a PC trough the USB cable and press the sync button for a few seconds

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    As I mentioned you could try on a Xbox console the update, or connecting the controller trough USB, but probably after the update you won't be able to map the buttons trough the PC, if that happens you will need to rollback the update on the console again

    Having to play with it plugged in stinks.

    The audio trough the 3.5 mm jack on the controller works only when the controller is plugged trough USB or you use an Xbox wireless adapter

    Once you have any of those set, then you need to go to your audio settings on the Pc and select the controller as the audio output device
