Xbox One Controller won't connect to my Sony Xperia Z3+

Hello.

I recently purchased the new Bluetooth Xbox One Controller for my PC as well as for my Android and to use as a second controller for my Xbox One that I'm buying in the future.

I have no issues for my PC as I'm connecting it through a wire and it's working absolutely fine.

However my issue is connecting the Xbox One controller to my phone, my phone can "detect" it through a wire and provides power to it, however it doesn't register the inputs at all. The controller doesn't see my phone as a device that it can send inputs to
through a wire so it remains off when it's plugged.

Another issue with it is that it doesn't connect through Bluetooth either. When I try to pair both devices, my phone gives me an error saying something of an incorrect pin.

Is there a known issue? It works fine with other devices, but not mine and it's extremely annoying.

The controller is all updated and my phone is all updated.

Stream XB1 feed to tablet or phone?

so everyone knows the wii u has a screen in the controller so you can play without the TV. But Sony now has a little device to use a Sony phone to stream your ps4.

Microsoft is big on the Xbox being the all-in-one entertainment system, and because of that I (as well as many others) have it set up in our living room for everyone to use. However, sometimes the Mrs. likes to watch her girly shows and I'm stuck wondering
how I can play it down here while she's watching. I really think Xbox should allow users to stream their xb1 video to a tablet or phone.

Smartglass streaming / remote play.

I want to up this post... Wii U does have remote second screen so no split screening when your buddys are around. Also on the 29th of September Sony is bring out the Xperia Z3 which will also be able to be used for the same remote play as the vita with the
capability for connecting the PS4 controller to the Z3.

When Smartglass came out I thought that I would be able to remote play and second screen on my laptop or tablet when my friends come round, smartglass is a disapiontment for me and for a great idea it's fallen short. Other companys like sony and Nintendo
has seen the potential and beaten Microsoft to expand this idea.

 

The only published Bluetooth drivers for the new Xbox One S controller are bundled with the anniversary update of Windows 10, meaning that the controller is only supported with Windows 10. It is not officially supported for other platforms.

Anything you might find online with people getting the controller working on other platforms is likely just the controller partially working with generic Bluetooth input drivers (or third-party drivers not written by Microsoft).
