  1. Xbox one controller won't connect to my pc (wired).

I'm trying to connect my Xbox one controller to my pc, but it won't work. When I plug it in, it rumbles and no light flashes. If I hold the Xbox button, the light flashes for about a minute and then turns off. I have tried 5 different usb cables, all of
which were tested and worked fine with other devices. I have tried to look for the device in the device manager but it does not show up. I have been trying to figure out how to fix this for about an hour now and finally decided to just ask a question. if you
have any possible solutions please let me know, thank you.

    :)

Xbox one s Controller not being detected by any device.

I tried connecting it with a cable to my Xbox and it won't detect it. I also tried to connect it wirelessly to my phone and it connects but the white light on the controller keeps flashing, and it won't do anything. It only works when I connect it with a cable on my pc. It doesn't work on any other device wired or wireless.

Same issue here on my PC with Xbox One controller and wired connection, a real shame as I like the controller otherwise.

Xbox 360 Wireless controller not working on Windows 10

    Hi,

Sorry, what you're trying to do won't work. The simple answer is that 360 wireless controllers were only designed to work wirelessly. They don't have the functionality to send instructions via a wired connection.

The Play and Charge can only charge the battery - or power the controller if no battery is present.

You'll need a gaming receiver or a wired 360 controller. Only Xbox One controllers can use both wired or wireless connectivity with a PC.
