XBOX ONE controller will not connect wirelessly

So I just received my "new" console through and advanced console replacement (where they take-down your credit card info and send you a new system). You send back the faulty one.

I was going back-and-forth for months regarding the Network connection. Support was constantly telling me it was my router settings, or ISP. After getting the replacement console the wired connection worked perfectly first time - same cables configuration,
    etc. Great!

Now, the only problem is the controller won't connect? I've tried hard resets, checked the batteries (new), tried another controller (new out of the box), made sure the controllers are updated (yes they are), tried every guide available. Nothing at all works.
It was working perfectly on the old console (the one that couldn't connect wirelessly or though a wired connection). So now I have a system that connects to the network and XBL, but I can't use my controller. Well actually, I can as long as I use a micro USB.
    But, i didn't pay $60+ for a wireless controller that I can't use?

Seems to be many posts on this. Tried calling-in twice today, disconnected both times. Any help would be appreciated.

Did something break in the last update?

Starting to look at a nice new PS4 Pro, might be the way to go.

    :)

You have probably done this but did you try pressing the sync buttons on both the console and the controller at the same time.

If that doesn't work then try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord
back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results.

Let us know how it goes. Good Luck!!

Did both of those things EXACTLY multiple times. Even had a timer on to ensure I waited 5 minutes.

Since you have already tried a new controller it is apparent that the problem is with the console.

  9. Try the HARD RESET might work if tried more than once. Hard Reset Motion: turning power off, unplug the cord from the power adapter, wait a several minutes, re plug, and turn on console.

Finally had the chance to to call-in today without getting disconnected. I thought I would add-in this last detail, which wasn't noticed before. I plugged-in my old unit to do a factory reset before returning it. The controller wasn't synced, so I hit the
sync button on the side of the console and the sync button on the controller. The XBOX logo started flashing in time with that of the controller. This didn't happen on the replacement unit. This leads me to believe that either the sync button on the replacement
unit isn't working properly, or something internally has malfunctioned. It looks as though, I will be sending in the replacement unit for another replacement. Thanks to everyone for trying to help.

  11. Hey there JerrySizzla,

Sorry to hear the replacement console is causing issues. I just wanted to offer a suggestion or two to see if it helps, before you send the console back. Can you try to connect the controller to the console via a USB Cable to allow the controller to connect
to the console? See if that will help with the controller connecting and then try it wirelessly.

Also, I just wanted to make sure you saw and tried this guide as well.

My controller keeps disconnecting mid game

Is this an Xbox One controller, or an Xbox 360 controller? If it's an Xbox One controller, are you connecting wirelessly to the PC via Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter?

This does not occur if I connect the same headset via wire/headphone jack to the controller.

It only occurs when connected wirelessly to the Xbox one S.

    Please fix.
