Okay, so my Xbox One controller will disconnect and reconnect and once it does it twice my Turtle Beach XO Seven headset will then lose all game audio. The only way to deal with the situation is to reboot my Xbox One to get all the sound working correctly
again. Sometimes it can be extremely annoying like when my Xbox One controller decides to do this within every hour I am trying to play a video game.

Does anyone have any advice on how to keep my Xbox One controller from disconnecting and furthermore, causing issues with my headset once it does so?

Yes, my Xbox One controller is fully updated with the most recent firmware update and my stereo headset adapter is also updated with the most recent update.

My Xbox one controller disconnects and then reconnects about once every hour during gameplay. If I am using a headset, this also disconnects my headset. The batteries are brand new and all updates have been applied to both the console and controller. This

First of all, my wireless Xbox one controller randomly disconnects, even with full battery. This happens probably every 15 minutes.

Second, I have an audio adapter plugged into it, and when the controller disconnects, it shuts down the audio adapter even after the controller reconnects, and stays that way for a while. What can I do?

 

Have you tried to assign the controller to your gamertag? You can do this by heading to Settings>Devices and select Assign a Device.

 

Yes, my Xbox One controller is assigned to my gamertag. So that is not the issue. It has to do with this stereo headset adapter in general, I believe. My Xbox One controller works perfectly fine unless I have that plugged in.

 

What batteries are you using? Is it a charge and play kit?

I play with rechargeable batteries branded "SONY" and also other brand and same problem.

I do not play with a chargable battery kit. I use just normal AA batteries that I have to replace once they die.

It's on me "assassin's creed unity" and "cod advanced warfare" :-(

 

Ive bought a set of XO ones today I can hear gameplay fine through them and people can here me but I cant hear them and also the turtle beach does not come up as a connected device can anyone help

 

Problem battery type "Nimh" ==> 1.2v x2 = 2.4v

No problem battery official Lithium ==> 3v
