    Lied to by support reps!

    You need to return the items with the receipt to wherever you bought them and tell them they are defective. They should be able to exchange them for new items. That's really the only thing you can do, unless you want to send the controllers back to Microsoft
    to be repaired since they fall under warranty.

    If you have a standard Xbox One controller (with removable batteries) then check out this support page on where to find the Controller Serial
    Number     on the device itself.

    You have to sign in Here and then devices, manage then add. Then you you will click on xbox accessory.

    I also get the plan by Walmart because if anything happens, i can trade it in. I would still register just in case. I know somethings are only covered by the warranty, as for what. Im not too sure.
