Xbox One Controller view button (back/select button) too soft. squishy no feedback

Anyone else having problems with the Xbox One controller's View button being too soft? I really have to mash it for it to work correctly. The start button is much better. Maybe I just have a bad one?

    :)

    Controllers, WOW!

Not shoulder (bumper) buttons. The select (back) buttons were white/clear, but there was no officially released Original controller that had mismatching trigger or bumper buttons.

    .

Sounds like one someone repaired that particular controller at one point

You can send it in for a new one. You would only have to pay for shipping.

Yes, I have no trouble getting a new one. Just wondering if the new one will behave the same way or if I just happened to get a bad one.

    Tutorial 4 bug

It's the View button (the small one with the two rectangles on it). I think on previous generations of controllers this was a "Back" button.

    Please fix the october changes.

All of the buttons on the Xbox One controller are the same as they were on the Xbox 360 controller with the exception of 2. Yes, you're correct - the "menu" button is what used to be the "start" button. The other button that has changed is the "view" button
which is what used to be the "back" button. Otherwise, the controller's exactly the same in terms of buttons. ;)

As for the snap center, I personally don't think it gets in the way much at all, especially since it disappears once you make a selection or back out. As for whether you can disable it, I'm fairly certain you can't. If you don't like using it though, you
could always use the voice commands (by getting a Kinect if you don't have one) instead.

Why can I not customize my Spartan in Halo Reach?

Just double check that you are logged in on your account with in the game, and with in the 360 dashboard, you can reach the 360 dashboard by pressing the menu and view buttons on your Xbox One controller at the same time.
This. After opening the Xbox 360 guide by pressing the start-/menu-button and select-/back-button on your controller at the same time you are able to change your profile/sign in so that the issue should be solved.
